Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

KleerMail is looking for a talented Junior Software developer to contribute to the implementation of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product offerings. Your primary focus will be development of client-side logic, definition and maintenance of the component library, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the back-end. You will also be responsible for integrating back-end with the front-end application. Therefore, experience with back-end technologies is necessary as well.

The candidate will work as part of a cross-functional Agile SCRUM team to implement new features in short sprints, taking requirements inputs from our product manager and guidance from engineering leadership. They will participate in feature estimation, write automated unit tests for their code, submit code for peer review and make any necessary adjustments, and participate in peer reviews of other developers' code.

Responsibilities:

• Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• BUG hunt and troubleshoot layout and performance issues
• Help research and adopt new technologies or methodologies as needed
• Troubleshoot, test and validate software issues; resolve issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions

Skills:

• 2+ year of experience with REACT, CSS, HTML, SASS, JavaScript, Python or Java
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Big plus if you have experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Amazon Web Services
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong work ethic, and highly collaborative, success-oriented attitude
• Must be able to work on site for collaboration hours
