We are currently looking for a talented ETL Developer to join our client’s team in Charlotte, NC!
 
This is a 6-month+ contract position. Interview process will include a phone and a F2F interview.
 
Note: Not open to 3rd party/C2C consultants. This position is only available to those who can work on W2 basis.

The ideal Candidate is an Expert Developer in Teradata and must have multiple years of expertise in using SQL.  This person should be well versed in all aspects of Teradata with a strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling. Collaboration is important and the right candidate should be able to work in teams and have excellent oral and written communication skills. 

The Department:
The Performance Measurement Team is responsible for supporting Marketing Line of Business within the bank on data requirements and reporting by providing insight into data integrity, data availability and building out self-service reporting capabilities.

The Day to day:
- Research across various database and perform data validation and testing
- Responsible for delivering against project schedules and activities, requiring validation and certification of global changes to schema or feature design.
- Provide feedback on system performance, tune queries/reports for better performance.
- Stay on top of the daily ETL activities, troubleshoot if necessary, communicate to the stake holders and drive issues to resolution.

Required skills/experience/education:
- 3+ years experience in database and ETL development.
- Advanced understanding of Teradata and SQL in accessing and manipulating data in very large databases, with complex relationships.
- Advanced Data Analysis skills.
- Advanced SQL Development skills.
- Advanced ETL Design.
- Advanced Trouble Shooting skills

Desired skills/experience/education:
- Foundational knowledge of Banking processes, especially around Sales and Marketing.
- Exposure to JAMS/AutoSys orchestration software
