Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in software test engineering, consumer electronics and internal tool development.
• 
  
• Experience testing and launching consumer facing products.
• 
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 
  
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, JavaScript or C/C++.

• Hands-on experience with test infrastructure development, supporting product launch and ongoing development.

• Strong sense of product quality and end-user experience.

• Interest in consumer electronics, testing and mobile technology.

Responsibilities

• Work with the local Google Home team in Taipei as well as with the global Google Home Test and Engineering Productivity team.

• Build test infrastructure and tooling to enable Google Home product launches.
• 
  
• Develop tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their quality and velocity.
