Quality Assurance Engineer will need to oversee the entire development process, which includes software testing, from start to finish. Qualified candidates will ensure all aspects of quality including functionality, performance, accessibility and security. Candidates will need to define test plans, test suites, test cases as well as utilize automated tools to optimize the STLC. Your responsibilities will include continuously monitoring and increasing test coverage, performing exploratory testing, automating repetitive tasks and working side by side with software development engineers to deliver high quality product to the Audible customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.
· 3+ years of experience in software quality and/or testing using automated tools and frameworks.
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
· Experience with functional, performance and security testing for both web applications and back end service
· Expert Knowledge of QA Methodologies and software life cycle
· Experience with browser (Selenium/Webdriver) and service oriented architecture testing
· Experience with at least one OO programming language such as Java, Ruby, C++
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting/problem solving skills
· Unix and/or Linux; Unix tools and basic Unix scripting languages
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with test and behavior driven development
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, an
