IOMAXIS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software team in a full-time capacity out of our Arlington (Ballston), VA office.
What You'll be doing:
As the Senior Software Engineer, the related tasks and duties involve:
- Leading small teams in agile software development efforts and providing direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for systems.
- Directly interfacing with customer working groups on development and integration issues.
- Leading, coaching, and developing junior staff.
- Developing and preparing application documentation, gathering specific information related to the project and applicable technical material.
- Being a Thought leader, staying current with applicable tools and drives adoption of new technologies.
- Developing a private cloud infrastructure, including the security, networking, container orchestration, and other considerations required for implementation.
- Using the rust programming language to develop a multi-domain security isolated infrastructure with a high degree of autonomous operations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. (Computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar)
Clearance:
- Clearance: Must be clearance eligible; current clearance is a plus.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Five to ten years of direct experience in related software engineering efforts
- Strong programming skills in a language such as java, C, C++, python, or rust
- Experience constructing REST APIs
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and how to use them as part of a build process
