Platinum Circle Technologies is a boutique consultancy in Alpharetta, GA, who specializes in custom application and data portal development. We are currently searching for a database engineer to join our growing team! This person will be a part of a senior development team who is responsible for the build, enhancements and custom features of our supply chain and logistics product suite, as well as some maintenance and support.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and above.
- Experience with Database design.
- 1-3+ years development experience with Microsoft SQL Server including recent experience with 2014, 2016 and or 2017
- Experience with SQL Development.
- T-SQL knowledge (queries, views, stored procedures, triggers).
- Experience with database querying optimization and index design, preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Development experience using C# and extended Stored Procedures with Visual Studio preferred
- Supply chain, logistics, or WMS system experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop complex queries and stored procedures using T-SQL
- Design and development systems that meet defined business requirements
- Independently analyze and solve complex problems
- Evaluate large and complex data sets
- Express problems and solutions visually through white-boarding
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Manage source code versioning and deployments
- Write and maintain SSIS Packages
- Assist application developers in refining complex queues and performance tuning
- Create tables, assign permissions, import data, perform app configurations, etc.
- Staying knowledgeable with the latest advances in SQL Server and other data technologies
