Treasury Business Intelligence Analyst at Beyond Finance, Inc. (Houston, TX)

About the Role: 

The Treasury Business Intelligence Analyst (TBI) is a highly visible role that will report to both the chief financial officer and chief risk officer.   The TBI Associate will be exposed to a broad range of activities and responsibilities including financial analysis and modeling, reporting, managing third party debt facilities, and general treasury functions.  The Associate will also have access to all senior managers of the firm with full visibility of the firms span of business activities. The role will be a closely mentored apprenticeship with the objective of developing into a well-rounded financial executive over the long term.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain financial models that analyze, track and forecast the performance of Beyonds financial assets and associated key risks

• Assist in managing the companys 3rd party lending facilities, including creating borrowing base reports, executing facility draws and monitoring trigger compliance.

• Provide analysis and support for key treasury functions including liquidity and cash management

• Analyze and support balance sheet and capital structure optimization

• Perform ad-hoc analysis supporting the finance and risk departments
  
  

Qualifications/Experience:

• BS degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience such as business intelligence or data analysis.

• Experience working with relational databases and using database languages/tools (e.g. SQL and Tableau).

• Proficient with Excel

• Interest in learning financial side of business

• Prior experience in a financial services environment (i.e.; lending, mortgage or debt settlement a plus!)

• Experience as a business/reporting analyst, in a dynamic business environment, with demonstrated reporting, analytical, and database experience

• Self-motivated and managed, exceptional follow-through

• Solid problem-solving skills and a strong analytical thought process

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and superior customer service record

• Proven track record in taking ownership to deliver results within a fast-paced environment
