Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Sr Program Manager to manage complex strategic projects with the various participants of our edge ecosystem: application developers, network operators, device manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and systems integrators.  This position will interact with multiple partners across multiple geographies and with various departments within each. This position will be responsible for projects moving forward through well-defined engagement models and on schedule by partnering both internally and externally to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a new position, so the right candidate will have an opportunity to implement best in class Program Management practices. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and understanding (organizational structures, terminology, etc.) of network operators and cloud providers,, preferably globally, as well as experience with setting up and managing relationships with suppliers and customers.

The position can be based anywhere in the U.S with a preference towards the West Coast or Dallas/Plano, Texas.

What you will do:

  • You will establish best practices for engagement models.

  • You will establish project plan baselines for: scope, resources, milestones, dependencies, tracking mechanisms, contingency plans.

  • You will socialize and gain buy-in from all project participants, key influencers and stakeholders.

  • You will drive project execution from start to finish: tracking activities, monitor and addressing changes, managing conflicts and resolving critical issues.

  • You will influence the customer/partner in the assessment, planning and management of complex technical projects.

  • You will handle customer and partner engagement: managing customer relationships by building confidence and trust and ensuring project progresses by arranging meetings and calls with the appropriate resources on a regular basis and as needed.

  • Develop the model for managing programs with Network Operators establishing simple processes, schedules, methods and tools with creative ideas.

What you will need:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience managing complex strategic customer facing programs/projects with a strong understanding of the operator and cloud landscapes, business setups and challenges.

  • Proven track record in working with 3rd parties and startups.

  • Project/Program Management experience in the deployment of technologies in a highly complex commercial environment.

  • Solid understanding of current operator network and cloud architectures.

  • Ability to influence with strong interpersonal skills.  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and demonstrate passion for the MobiledgeX business proposition.

  • An ability to identify and have a high-level understanding of general contract issues.

  • Travel up to 25%

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science or similar required. PMP and/or MBA preferred.
