As a software engineer you will automate and optimize our verification environment and integrate it into the development process. Does this sound like an exciting task for you? These are your new tasks:
  • Together with your team you will develop tools & methodologies (implemented in C++, Java, Perl) to improve our highly automated Integrated Circuit verification environment
  • You will collaborate with R&D key stakeholders, consolidate their requirements and implement solutions together within the team and external software providers
  • One focus will be the implementation of extensions in existing software solutions and the design and implementation of new software components
  • Finally, you will integrate the already adapted tools and methodologies into our existing R&D design flows and ensure the necessary specification and documentation
  • Take on responsibility about software quality by implementing unit, regression, integration testing
  • You will also provide support to users and facilitate trainings

In addition, you are able to establish a trusting and constructive cooperation and like to share your knowledge with colleagues and users.

These qualifications help you master the job:
  • A technical degree (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related studies) and at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Sound knowledge of object-oriented software development (e.g. Java, C++) and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python, Cadence SKILL, JavaScript, Bash, ...) on Unix/Linux and Windows as well as knowledge of modern software development methodology
  • You enjoy the automation of verification processes and the design and development of application-oriented software solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of English and presentation skills
  • The willingness to learn German
