As a Senior Manager in the AWS Machine Learning team you will own the innovation in Amazon SageMaker. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and engineering leaders in accelerating the growth of the distributing training platform - defining the product roadmap, delivering compelling functionality for customers, and operating the service with high availability and reliability.


Key Strategic Objectives:
· Manage and grow a high-performing development team to design, implement, and operate industry leading AWS services
· Sustain a high pace of feature development while simultaneously designing for security and availability and scaling every aspect of the team and service at a massive rate of growth.
· Make critical decisions regarding technology selection, balance feature and operational priorities, and set high standards for quality and on-time delivery.
· Define and execute against meaningful performance and operational SLAs that capture the customer experience.
· Collaborate effectively with peer teams across AWS, including SageMaker, Lamda, DynamoDB, other AWS services, and third party ecosystems.
· Have a capacity for strategic planning in conjunction with a detail-oriented focus.
