As a Senior Software Engineer you will be involved in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle for two enrollment and billing applications for our health insurance client. You will join as a Team Lead to help plan and execute this multi-year initiative within one of the largest companies in the country. Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Work with Tech Lead to understand both business and technical requests and requirements and integrate those needs into AIM platform capabilities.
• Develop robust, reusable and reliable platform components which enhance Billing and Enrollment platform, frameworks and services.
• Co-ordinate development and testing with onsite Jr. developers
• Grow as a developer by exchanging knowledge and ideas with team members and other developers.
• Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or technical institute training.
• Sr. Developer position will require minimum 3 years of solid experience with Java application development, deep understanding SOA principles and/or REST.
• Experience with Spring MVC/Spring Data/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud/Spring Transactions.
• Core understanding of SOLID principles and experience in applying design patterns.
• Multi-database, Hibernate and multi-business application experience is required.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar major RDBMS products
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
• Experience using testing tools like Junit, Rest-Assured etc.
• Demonstrated ability to provide troubleshooting support.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience authoring, reviewing, performing trace-back to requirements, and providing feedback on all technical documentation.
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
