Software Development Engineer In Test at SQA - Software Quality Associates (Raleigh, NC)

Are you an SDET with solid object-oriented design experience who can code in Java?

SQA is partnering with an innovative financial services provider who is seeking multiple Software Development Engineers in Test for roles in greater Providence, RI; southern NH; and Raleigh, NC. Qualified candidates will help stand up a test automation infrastructure in a state-of-the-art hybrid- and cloud-based microservices and CI/CD architecture environment.

Qualifications and responsibilities include:

• Extensive object-oriented design and Java coding experience
• Strong end-to-end test automation skills, including database, API (REST), and UI layers
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD, and automated testing in CI/CD stack
• Experience with REST Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, or similar
• Collaborating with the project team, developers and architects to understand requirements, conduct code reviews, improve code maintainability, and prioritize System Testing efforts
• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests and tooling, and manual tests when automation does not apply
• Mining and manipulating data to create Test Data for multiple or complex projects
• Defining automated regression tests for ongoing and future regression efforts
• Strong Python scripting and PL/SQL querying a plus
• B.S. in Computer Science
