Sr Programmer - Full Stack Developer

Under limited supervision, designs and develops new applications as well as develops enhancements, and bug fixes for existing applications. Provides subject matter expertise and partners with the business to collect user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Works with contractors and consultants on larger projects to ensure that the application meets requirements within code quality parameters.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

·         Successfully partners with the business to gather user requirements and translate them into application features while providing subject matter expertise and guidance

·         Creates specifications from user requirements and designs prototypes according to specifications and requirements

·         Develops technical documents to accurately represent application design and code

·         Creates new applications / maintains existing applications using C#, .NET, Angular JS, MVC, CSS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and TFS Online

·         Develops test plans, creates test data, tests programs, and reviews program code to determine if programming logic creates the desired results and makes efficient use of hardware and software resources

·         Performs quality testing and conducts functional and non-functional testing prior to launch

·         Troubleshoots and debugs applications

·         Evaluates existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Degree Field (s):

·         Computer Science

·         Related Field of Study

Work Experience: 4-6 years

Relevant work experience and proficiency with the following:

·         ASP.NET MVC, C#, JSON, AJAX;

·         RESTful Web Services (ASP.NET Web APIs);

·         HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap (Responsive UI);

·         Angular JS / Angular 2 / TypeScript;

·         ADO.NET, Entity Framework;

·         MS SQL Server, T-SQL;

·         Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Degree Field (s):

·         Computer Science

·         Related Field of Study

Work Experience: 6-8 years

Relevant work experience and proficiency with the following:

·         Relevant experience with MS Azure ecosystem, Team Foundation Server, Power BI / Reporting, and Telerik Controls

·         Mobile App development (iOS)

·         Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
