Your Role

In your role as a Sales Enablement - Offering Manager you will be the expert in buyer personas - how they buy and their buying criteria - and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel. As a champion in the market, you will help drive the messaging of IBM Security Service offerings value proposition and gain insights that enable you to contribute to the go-to-market strategy. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into understandable stories is crucial. You will work closely with offering managers and sales to craft the market facing messaging and positioning and develop innovative go to market programs that drive demand and sales results.
 

Work location for this position is Cambridge, MA or Atlanta, GA. Must be willing to travel up to 25%. Some international travel will be required.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive business objectives.
  • Analytical, pays attention to details, and makes decision based on data analysis and facts.
  • Synthesizes complex business requirements and breaks them down in to an agile execution plan.
  • Delivers initiatives from conception through completion in an iterative way.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
  • Brings up new ideas and creative solutions to help IBM Security Services continue to be innovative.  

Your Responsibilities

  • Positioning: Identify and develop positioning that uniquely differentiates IBM Security Service offerings as the market leading services.
  • Sales and marketing tools: Create collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and blog posts, to communicate the value proposition of our services.
  • Launches: Plan the launch of new offerings and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Communications: Work with sales and marketing teams to broadcast our message to the market, across the organization, and our partner community.
  • Ecosystem: Work across sellers, solutioners, and channel to create a robust community of champions who are fully educated on the value of IBM Security Service offerings and possess the tools they need to sell to their specific customer base.
  • Market intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to succeed. Develop strategic marketing plans for IBM Security Service offerings by leveraging market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and business planning.
  • Demand generation: Work with the appropriate sales and marketing teams to drive demand. Support the strategy and programs that create interest for security services across all market segments.
  • Industry leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, on social media, and as a spokesperson for analyst and press coverage.
