In this direct hire role, you will be constructing, testing and maintaining the MYSQL database and participate in the design and development of data models and database architecture.

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems with 5 years of directly related work experience; or, Masters degree with 3 years of commercial experience in MySQL Development and MySQL Server
- Demonstrated experience configuring, maintaining, monitoring, overseeing and troubleshooting MySQL database servers v.5.7 with multi-master configuration running on Linux in production and staging
- Experience in Extract, Transform and Load phases of data intake and established best practices
- Knowledge of Percona toolkit
- Experience with source control SVN, GIT
- Experience with integrated development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet/Intranet resources
- Familiarity with Java code is a plus
- Experience working in an agile environment within a small team
- Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions or the need of sponsorship.
