Seeking a technical product owner with an engineering foundation for a well-established and growing company. This is a strategic role responsible for managing a portfolio products. This person will span both engineering and product management responsibilities and specifically be hands-on with database development/T-SQL tasks as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Takes primary responsibility for the product. Is first stop for product questions.
- Manages documentation and test plans.
- Owns database objects and does server-side programming.
- Writes tickets, manages release cycles.
- Troubleshoots operational issues.
- Helps contribute to the sales cycle for feasibility/proof of concept for product in prospective customer environments
- Programming duties are limited to T-SQL and database objects, but familiarity with programming in C# stack is essential.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experienced engineer whose role has involved product ownership over data-intensive applications
- General software development skills (Microsoft stack)
- MS SQL Server and T-SQL experience
- Project management experience
