React UI Developer at Brooksource (Austin, TX)

Developer Austin, TX

1+ year contract 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and modify custom .NET Web applications and Services
• Implement solutions to consume and publish to our Enterprise Service Bus
• Follow coding standards and guidelines for both UX and back-end code
• Analyze business requirements and user stories, specifications, and the most efficient and effective design approach
• Write and Interface with Web Services/APIs
• Ability to Debug and performance tune .Net solutions
• Ability to Debug and performance tune Database queries and stored procedures
• Write and Implement Unit Tests based on acceptance criteria with TDD in mind
• Write code with scalability, maintainability, performance and integration with other components and systems in mind

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing Web-based applications using C#/React/MVC
• Minimum 3 years of experience with WCF or other Web Services/Technologies (WSDL, SOAP, etc.)
• 3 yrs experience with MS SQL Server (Queries, Stored Procs)
• 2 yrs working knowledge of React/MVC
• 1 yr experience using Visual Studio Online/Azure DevOps/TFS or equivalent
• Great interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in agile team environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong Debugging and Problem solving skills

Preference given to those with the following:

• Tibco ESB/BW
• Retail Supply Chain experience
