We are looking for an experienced IT manager with a proven track record and detailed knowledge of industrys best practice and processes, to lead our IT team and manage our information technology to ensures the smooth operation of our computer systems and network.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizations goals
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner
- Design, develop, document, and implement systems, policies, and procedures
- Audit systems and assess the outcomes
- Work closely with departmental managers to determine our maintenance and growth needs
- Provide efficient tracking of IT Inventory
- Ensure uptime of local development environment servers as well as cloud and production Linux and Windows servers.
- Domain and Cloud Environment User management
- Provide troubleshooting and configuration support for client desktop, networking environment and various other hardware devices.
- Ensure all New Hire and Exit processes for employees are met
- Keep peers and management informed of trends, significant problems, and unexpected delays.
Qualifications
- 5+ yrs. previous experience of working in an IT Support capacity
- Proven IT and team management experience
- Expertise in data center management and data governance
- Must have experience with cloud computing, with Google Cloud experience a plus
- Linux proficiency is a must
- Active Directory and LDAP, and FileSystem storage, NAS experience
- Experience with IT monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field a plus
- CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security A+, or other IT certifications
- Startup experience is a strong plus
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs
