Job Details:
MSK is seeking a Bioinformatics Software Engineer to join the laboratory of Luis Diaz, Head of the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology. Under supervision of the group leader, will provide support to research projects at the Center by designing, developing, and implementing software tools for processing and analyzing high-throughput next-generation sequencing data. In addition, will provide one-on-one consultation and training to research scientists and bioinformatics and software engineers at the Center in the use of bioinformatics software tools and databases.

To be considered for Bioinformatics Software Engineer III, you need:
- Ph.D. and 0-2 years of related experience
- Master’s Degree and 2-4 years of related experience
- Cross-disciplinary and strong analytic skills, as well as broad experience with bioinformatics methods, software and computer programming languages (including R and Python) are essential
To be considered for Bioinformatics Software Engineer IV, you need:
- Ph.D. and 2-4 years of related experience
- Master’s Degree and 4-7 years of related experience
- Cross-disciplinary and strong analytic skills, as well as broad experience with bioinformatics methods, software and computer programming languages are essential
