POSITION:                       Associate Software Engineer

LOCATION:                      Ann Arbor, MI

SUMMARY:   This is an entry-level position to develop and maintain software solutions utilizing analysis, design and coding skills. There is a fair amount of cross-team collaboration within Infor on projects requiring good team and communications skills, both written and verbal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis and design of software solutions for business issues

• Extensive use of XSLT to build Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transformation stylesheets

• Using Java to code programs that fulfill customer requirements and needs

• Communication and collaboration with various teams within Infor

• Requirements gathering to aid in the design of software solutions

• Developing written specifications detailing software solutions to requirements

• Providing technical assistance to implementation and support teams

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

• 1 year or more programming in the Java language  

• Experience with supply chain solutions is a plus

• Automotive industry knowledge is a plus

• EDI knowledge is a plus
