We are looking for self-driven & experienced software engineers who are interested in writing software and problem solving in creative ways. We are a small, highly collaborative group of engineers developing several web-based applications following Agile development methodologies. Development and Operations go hand-in-hand, and responsibilities are shared amongst team members, giving opportunities where interests and strengths align.
In this position you would be primarily focused on writing new application code. We task toward each individual’s strengths and will actively encourage your growth in unfamiliar areas for further personal development. Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Several years of experience working on a team as an engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability and desire to write reusable and testable code
- Object Oriented programming experience (Java or Python)
- Experience with HTML, CSS/LESS/Sass, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with version control (git)
- Strong Opinions, Weakly Held
We would love it if you have:
- Experience with frontend build tools (Gulp, Grunt, etc.)
- Experience with GCP, Bamboo, or Ansible
- Experience with cloud & virtual Linux server management and deployments
- Familiarity and experience with databases
