DeGiro is a growing brokerage and investment firm, rapidly expanding our activities within the European Union and, next, outside of the EU. In order to support our rapidly growing business operations, we are looking to expand our IT Trading Server Team with a motivated and skilled QA Engineer.
As a Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT department dealing with the design, implementation and execution of test scenarios based on requirements, user stories and feedback from internal or external customers. The process of designing and executing the test scenarios varies from one request to another with main focus on automated test scenarios, however manual test scenarios can be required in some cases. In case the tests are automated, the available test framework(s) should be used .
The responsibilities of this function entail:
- Design,develop and execute automated and manual test scenarios ;
- Reporting and communicating test results and found defects in a clear an unambiguous manner;
- Test client specific use-cases in tests environments that replicate production
- Failure analysis and reproduction of known problems;
- Tracing the automated tests coverage for all the features or patches ;
- Support enhancing and promoting risk awareness in the business.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Mathematics or similar;
- 1-3 years of manual/automated testing experience;
- Automation test experience is not required but is a plus;
- Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) is required;
- Familiar with object oriented programming languages like C++ and JAVA is a plus;
- Basic Linux knowledge is a plus;
- Professional English working proficiency;
- Enthusiastic team-player with good communication skills;
- Analytical, pro-active and detailed-oriented;
- Pragmatic committed approach;
- Experience with CI/CD and Saas tools ( ex. Jenkins/Bamboo/Bitbucket/Jira) is a plus
