What will the role look like on a day to day basis?
You will collaborate with product management, business analysts and business stakeholders to deliver great software that is elegant and easy to use. You will drive the technical direction of our products frontend and backend architecture and lead collaboration with other talented engineers to design and implement innovative solutions. This includes designing UI frameworks, microservices and backend processes utilizing technologies consisting of AngularJS, Angular, Java, MongoDB, SQL and AWS.

Experience and attributes that will translate into success:
- Excellent software development and design skills in core Java
- Exceptional JavaScript, HTML and CSS knowledge and skills
- Strong demonstrated experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly AngularJS
- Experience designing complex systems using SOLID principles
- Experience with both relational and document databases (SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD
- Experience mentoring developers
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible/adaptable and can embrace change
