Python/Django Developer for growing Healthtech startup (multiple positions) at Force Therapeutics (New York, NY)

We are a small but passionate team, solving real world problems and helping to make a change in the healthcare industry. We are working with leading & innovative health systems across the U.S, and growing our team to meet new challenges.


We are looking for multiple fullstack developers — software engineers who love their craft, and feel at home working with frontend and backend technologies. 


Join our team to help us extend our existing platform, building up innovative features and partner integrations, as well as scaling to accommodate the growth in our user base. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow and expand their skill set, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering.  


What you’ll do:



  • Scope, estimate, and build new features in our web and mobile applications

  • Analyze and make recommendations for improvement in existing code base 

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to guide team through planning, prioritization and execution 

  • Contribute to the team’s overall effectiveness, turn blockers into opportunities, and improve team workflows


Things we’re looking for:



  • 4+ years of professional coding experience

  • Experience designing and implementing highly scalable platforms

  • Team player with strong communication skills

  • Someone who has interest in new technologies and expanding their skillset - lifelong learning is a foundational value

  • Bachelor’s degree or proven track record of delivering successful projects


Ideally, you have experience working with:



  • Python/Django or similar framework such as Rails or Node

  • Frontend framework such as React or Angular
