REQUIREMENTS
What the role is:
We are looking for a server side focused, full stack API Software Engineer, who cares deeply about building, scaling and consuming Restful API’s within an agile team of developers.
We’d like you to:
- Be a major stakeholder in the planning and build of Snap’s greenfield Restful API
- Plan and communicate your endpoints effectively, fostering good relationships with the team members who are responsible for consuming them
- Participate in peer code review
- Be unafraid of consuming your own endpoints
- Help us Architect as we scale.

- Open Source frameworks are key - Vue.js, Python, Django Rest Framework, PHP and Laravel
- Relational databases are core to our business - MySQL, PostgreSQL
- We cannot live without our NoSQL databases - Redis, Neo4J
