JOB DESCRIPTION

Immuta is experiencing exceptional growth and we have an immediate need for a lead Cloud Architect who is looking for a rare opportunity to be part of a special team. As a Cloud Architect, you'll be an essential part of our Cloud Business Unit, working closely with Immuta Cloud leadership to establish the next phase of product, solutions and go-to-market for the business. This is a growth opportunity for the right candidate.


YOUR ROLE

The Cloud Architect role will be the primary interface for Immuta with hyperscale partners (AWS, Azure, Google), cloud native ecosystem vendors (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.), and cloud platform customers. Through customer and partner interaction and corresponding feedback, this role will also collaborate extremely closely with Immuta engineering and delivery teams to define and build cloud-native Immuta services. The ideal person will have refined interpersonal and verbal communication skills, a genuine interest in our customers’ missions, and an entrepreneurial desire to help build and scale a line of business. Your proven experience and track record is necessary to simply, accurately, and articulately lead the technical aspects of associated with Immuta’s cloud business and handoff to the Customer Success Team. Experience in product management or as a sales engineer / solutions engineer for a public cloud IaaS or cloud-native SaaS provider is most preferred.


WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO…

* Will be the technical face of the Immuta Cloud business - engaging with partners, customers and colleagues to define, build and deliver cloud-based compliant data management solutions to enterprises around the world.
* Will gather field data to influence product design and roadmap development.
* Will engage partners including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake to ensure tight product integration and technical engagement paths.
* Will work with the Immuta SA team to build and deliver custom demos for customers which in certain situations, requires coding in some situations.
* Will listen to customers and answer their questions.
* Will advise customers on best practices for cloud deployment.
* Is able to set priorities and keep the team focused on the important tasks.


YOUR EXPERIENCE

* 4+ years experience in a technical sales role, working with an enterprise software or data product, and/or 4+ years in a product management or solution architect role at a SaaS or IaaS provider.
* Deep understanding of IaaS, SaaS, database and data warehouse technology, to include SQL experience.
* Experience with AWS and/or Azure, plus Hadoop, Spark, S3/Azure Blob Storage, EMR/Azure Data Lake compute, and other relevant cloud data science tooling.
* Statistical experience is a plus.
* Strong data analysis skills, knowing what can / cannot be possible, and ability to visualize data in the best way possible.
* Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written, visual (presentations), and verbal.
* Comfortable presenting to executive management, highly technical engineers, and larger audiences.
* Multitasking, critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential.
* Team-oriented, flexible, and able to see the “big picture” - because our entire team must meet our goals for Immuta to be successful.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed to achieve GTM objectives.
