Duties:

Design and develop software system and tools to optimize deployment, and post-deployment technical support processes and reduce operational cost
Practice disciplined software engineering through beautiful, pragmatic code, code reviews, automated testing with proper documentation.
Deliver high quality and heavily tested software that is modular, secure, reliable and usable.
Take ownership of the system developed and make continued improvements and provide necessary operational support whenever needed.

Required:

Minimum BS in Computer Science, with software development as a focus.
3+ years industry experiences in web related software development
Strong knowledge of best practices in Object-Oriented Programming, Code Refactoring, and Design Patterns.
Expert knowledge of high performance, highly available, fault-tolerant SOA architecture.
Experiences in handling structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
Strong knowledge of data security, data consistency, system performance, and reliability issues in a networked environment
Strong industry experiences with full stack web development practices and tools, proficiency in both backend technologies such as SQL databases, backend APIs, Python, Java, Node.js, MongoDB, and frontend technologies such as JSON, XHTML, XML, JavaScript, React, AJAX, CSS, DOM manipulation
Strong competencies in system design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
Strong communication and documentation skills
Strong industrial experiences in deploying and operating software services in a Linux environment
Motivated, self-starter that is able to work both independently and in cooperation with a larger team

Experiences working in a fast-paced startup environment
Experiences with text detection from images
Experiences in cloud-based software development on AWS
Experiences in the unit test and automatic integration test
