- 5+ years of Java applications development experience, with experience implementing real-time applications on back-end components within an enterprise environment
- Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable and efficient code and correctly employ design patterns
- Experience in NoSQL technologies / Elastic Search, Cloud computing or distributed messaging frameworks are desired skills
- Working closely with manager to make sure business requirements in the form of production release deliverables are met
- Mentoring new resources to be successful in an individual and team setting
- Conduct and participate in Agile Scrum calls to ensure technical and business partners have current status on delivery progress.
- Deliver secure, efficient, high performing and stable code that meets or exceeds business needs. Meet/exceed all bank technology standards for applications.
- Availability for production support incident/SME support, as required.
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Elastic Search, PL/SQL
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
