This job position is ideal for someone with embedded security experience. The Product Security team plays a central role in protecting our customers’ networks and sensitive data.


Example Projects of an Embedded Security Engineer:



  • You will assist in bringing up the secure boot mechanisms on new Meraki platforms, owning projects from block-diagram concepts, to prototype boards, all the way to shipping products

  • You will perform technical design and code reviews.

  • You will Collaborate closely with engineering peers and product managers.

  • You will Assist with the selection of security technology (both hardware and software) for integration into our products


You are an outstanding applicant if:



  • You have BS/MS/Ph.D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • You are proficient in C and/or C++

  • You have 2-5 years of experience writing professional production code

  • You have experienced with embedded Linux environments

  • You obtain an eagerness to learn new technologies and languages, and to cross technical boundaries to take on problems.

  • You have a strong ability to collaborate with others


Bonus points if:



  • You have experience with secure/verified boot or Trusted Platform Module (TPM).

  • You have familiarity with I2C, SPI, or LPC
