- Creation and development of our payment and banking applications and services from technical planning to implementation
- Advancing our microservice architecture
- Work with and in cross-functional agile development teams
- Familiarisation and experimentation with as well as evaluation of new tools and Technologies
your skills
- Degree in computer science, comparable training or equivalent experience
- 5 - 8 years experience in developing complex modular web applications in an agile environment
- Good knowledge of Java, in object-oriented programming, and in relational DBMS
- Knowledge of functional programming languages (Scala) and reactive programming (RxJava), common frameworks (Hibernate, Jersey, Guice, Guava, JEE), VCS (Git, Subversion), microservice architectures, frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GWT, jQuery), and NoSQL/BigData technologies (Hive, Spark, HBase, Cassandra, Impala) is a plus
- Logical, analytic thinking, structured, target-oriented approach, very good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
