BI Developer - SQL - permanent job based in Dorset - Up to £50,000 plus benefits

They are transforming the way that they provide BI to the business and are recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer to join the team in Bournemouth. You will be working in the centre of town just minutes from the beach and with direct transport links to Southampton and London.
Your new role
You will be part of a major BI initiative to support the expansion of the current Business Intelligence function and satisfy the demand for data within this business. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will be a central point for all BI requirements, establishing BI processes, helping the business to understand it's data and building technical BI solutions that are both robust and efficient.
You will build strong relationships with stakeholders to enable you to support BI requirements on an ongoing basis, ensuring high levels of delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked in a similar role as a Data, BI or MI Developer where you have delivered business intelligence within a demanding environment. You will have strong SQL Server BI experience including SSIS and SSRS and experience of data warehouse design and development.
You will also have had exposure to a variety of data visualisation tools including PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview etc. You will be a BI all-rounder with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to build and develop reporting solutions, design and develop ETL routines as well as supporting and maintaining databases.
This is a business facing role so you will have exceptional customer communication skills and the ability to translate data requirements and communicate to non-technical business users.
