Here at Data Migration Resources, we work with some of the largest companies in the world helping them solve their toughest data problems by applying leading edge technologies. We have an opening on our development team for 2 junior and 1 senior full-stack developers to build solutions that support our front-line Data Consulting organization.
This individual will significantly contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle including planning, coding, testing and deployment. As a member of this small, fast-moving development team it will be critical to work independently to deliver quality applications which adhere to the business needs of our customers and our core consultants.
Development will generally focus on building Angular SPA applications backed by REST APIs written in C# with Web API / WCF. These applications will integrate with a variety of SQL and non-SQL based databases. A key skill for this position is the ability to think abstractly about the metadata of the data we work on with our customers.
Responsibilities:
Building new features and enhancing existing features in a custom Data Migration solution including:
- User Interface Design and Development using material.io, etc.
- REST API Development in C#
- Mentoring junior developers in both software development tools and processes
Required Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in a software development role (for senior position)
- C# / ASP.NET / Web API
- REST API
- JavaScript / HTML / CSS
- SQL Server / Stored Procedures / Views / etc.
- AngularJS and/or Angular (2+)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
Preferred Skills:
- Cross platform database experience with Oracle / DB2 / Netezza / SAP HANA
- Agile project methodologies
- Automated testing for Angular / .Net
- Continuous integration tools
- TypeScript
- Webpack
- Cake
- Security authorization and authentication technologies
