We are looking for a new position as Senior Front-End Developer (m/f) for our client KONUX in Munich:
The Role
As a Senior Front End Software Engineer, you’ll work collaboratively with engineers and product designers to breathe life into our user interfaces on our platform. Ideal candidates learn and adapt quickly and will be able to use every tool at their disposal to understand and effectively tackle hard problems. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design. Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience. You will be working and driving an agile team of front-end professionals while also being in close contact with our other teams and product managers shaping the customer-facing side of our core product KORA.
Your Responsibilities
- Research and develop in collaboration or independently new user-facing features for the KONUX railway product (KORA)
- Ensure the technical feasibility of and provide input to UI/UX designs
- Ensure high-quality implementation standards and brand consistency
- Be part of shaping the technological landscape of the company
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
- Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usability
- Develop high-quality prototypes for new functionality or AB testing
- Constantly improve the architecture and performance of the UI features of the product
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Document testing- and performance-optimization of the developed applications
- Work with state-of-the-art FE frameworks such as ReactJS and D3.js
- Work with version control systems such as GITlab
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years experience in JavaScript based, Enterprise-grade web-app development
- 2 years of practical experience using ReactJS and Redux
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with cloud technologies (like AWS etc.)
- Experience with CSS/Sass, HTML5, NodeJS
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and browser technologies
- Familiarity with design patterns
- Full working proficiency in English
- Experience with developer toolchains: node/npm/Grunt/Gulp/Yeoman
- Experience with GIT version control in a production environment
- Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins)
- Ability to work collaboratively using agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with D3.js
- Knowledge in User-Experience Design
- Experience in Web-development for mobile devices
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with building analytics type platforms: kibana, Grafana
