This opportunity is for a DevOps Engineer to join Wealth Management Technology. The candidate will strongly provide guidance and assistance to the Devops team for Wealth Management Investment tools, Client Service and Operation applications. DevOps Engineer will work with a team of technologists with the goal of identifying and remediating production incidents with proficiency and speed. Engineer technical skills should complement excellent problem solving and communication skills to add real value individually and through a team. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes as required. Devops engineer will be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with the global team of technologists from all over the world.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Responsible for the operation, monitoring and integrity of the technology platform, and will handle the day-to-day application support activities for WM technology and its Applications.
Proactively improve process by automating and removing repeated effort.
Experience working with the change management process ensuring policies are enforced and adhered to and application integrity is maintained on production and DR environments.
Responsible for managing development platforms - continuous build, test and integration processes.
Ownership and participation in the Incident and problem management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology and business reporting and communication.
Responsible for providing technical support (level 2) to internal and external users.
The role needs to be able to support the application on weekdays and support weekend hygiene patches and post code change validations
The role requires the ability to provide rapid response to queues of incidents, participate in root cause analysis (RCA) efforts, assists with building up knowledge base articles and documentations.
The candidate needs to be comfortable in providing technical support that includes diagnosis of issues, performance and overall health monitoring, data fixes and updates, and configuration changes.
Perform timely escalation of critical issues and proactively identify patterns of recurring issues to improve production
Participates in the Incident and Problem Management processes as a resolver accountable for root cause analysis, resolution and reporting.

Qualifications

6-9 years experience in Software development, Devops or production support with strong knowledge of SDLC, cyber security best practices.
Proficiency in application development using Java, Java scripting, Python or database development.
SQL, Sybase / Oracle, Cassandra, Kafka
Shell / Perl Scripting, ksh, awk
Proficient with Unix and Linux, Windows environment
Dev Ops process, Jenkin, Hipchat,
Tools: Dynatrace, Apdynamics, Asemon, Toad, Ant, Jprobe, XML Spy
WebSphere Portal, Weblogic, Applets, Tomcat, Java, ASP, JSP, Java Script, XML, Springboot
Experienced in L1/L2 Production support Roles
Well versed with ITIL v3 concepts
Knowledge of Financial Services Industry is plus
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Need good analytical skills to drill down production issues
Good team player
