Rubicon Water is in hunt for full stack Java Developers for a permanent role based in Melbourne eastern Suburb

Your new role 

To work as part of a software development team on a diverse range of software projects and technologies. This may include new development and maintenance of software products, customer specific requirements, internal business systems and support of customer operational systems from time to time. It will also include installation and configuration activities relating to software products.

What you'll need to succeed 

We require an experienced full stack Java Developer to commence as soon as possible and be involved in key Transformational Projects.

Responsibilities:-

• 
  
• Contribute to the development of company’s software products
• 
  
• Participate in all software development lifecycle activities (using Agile methodologies) including requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming, testing and documentation where required and for which you have the relevant skills and knowledge
• 
  
• We are in process of migration our software to AWS space.
• 
  
• Maintain an awareness of technologies in the IT industry particularly those used in the development processes
• 
  
• Maintain an awareness of company’s software solutions.
• 
  
• Contributing to the improvement of products/systems as identified by independent analysis
• 
  

Skills Needed:

Software development experience using JAVA, Angularjs, AWS and/or SQL technologies and other related technologies applicable to the task at hand – this is expected to evolve

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Commitment to detail and quality outcomes with the ability to follow team processes and systems used

Fast learning capability in technically oriented products

Adherence to project management methodologies (agile or waterfall)

A highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment or collaboratively in team oriented projects

Ability to maintain focus and meet deadlines in the face of competing priorities
