FM position with rapidly expanding firm
Your new company
Working with an internationally recognized brand currently experiencing phenomenal growth across the U.S. and internationally, the Facilities Manager will be based at client offices and will oversee the administrative support to facilities operations in Chicago, Illinois.
Your new role
The job duties for the Facilities Manager (FM) will include, among others, management of external maintenance vendors, upkeep of their FM reporting and planning software, site inspections throughout the offices and dealing with client maintenance requests each day. You will be the primary FM representative in the region with your own property portfolio to take responsibility for, being supported by a team of Facility staff, reporting to a Regional Manager This is a highly client facing position, interacting with your clients employees on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience managing and coordinating busy, large facilities contracts in the past. You will have experience working within a professional, corporate environment, managing in excess of 500ksf of commercial office space.
This is a client facing job, and so communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to prioritize clients requests will be paramount to your success, with a significant focus on customer and client satisfaction.
The FM must hold a high school education or similar. It would be advantageous if you have experience with 3rd party FM providers, as would accreditation from IFMA, BOMA or other industry associations.
