You'll work on new features, solve critical issues impacting our customers, and play a key role in the prototyping, architecture, implementation, testing, and ongoing development of our new products. The ideal candidate can see the big picture and is excited to suggest creative, thoughtful solutions that will improve our users' experience with our products.
While your primary focus will be all things engineering, a career at Cerberus offers countless ways to contribute. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields
- Strong Object-oriented programming experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing back-end applications
- Significant experience developing web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and JQuery
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices, especially Agile/iterative development processes
- Champion of best practices for improving code quality such as peer reviews, unit/integration testing, static code analysis, and continuous integration
- Real-world experience debugging software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing large scale applications to meet business requirements in complex environments
- Knowledge and experience using modern C++ (11 and higher)
- Full-stack development experience - you know how to do a little bit of everything
- Solid understanding of concurrency
- Network and security application programming experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com architecture, APIs, and development tools including Visualforce, Apex, and Lightning components
- Experience building complex, scalable and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Familiarity with Git version control system
