Since we are a startup we are looking for high energy engineers who want to be involved in all aspects of the software. This includes having opinions on what we are building, the features of the app, the app architecture, as well as, the actual engineering of the app.
To be successful in this position, you must have a proven record of solutioning and delivering dynamic and complex mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in current mobile technologies, with an aptitude for learning new technologies. Being a team player and effective communicator with a passion for mentoring junior team members is a must have for this role. Experience using agile development practices is critical. You will build-out a modern application to enable us to more quickly ship new features into production at scale. We are currently a small team and our successes come from strong collaboration, an open mindset, and a good work ethic, which are critical in the early stages of a project to define requirements and set expectations for our product.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of mobile development experience on iOS/Android (i.e. Swift/Objective-C, Java)
- Deep understanding of iOS and/or Android SDKs. React Native or Vue Native a plus
- Expertise with profiling and performance optimization on mobile
- Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL API backends
- Expert level knowledge of HTML/CSS (all kinds) and JavaScript
- Proficiency in TDD, writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
- Pixel perfect attention to detail with an eye for user experience. Implementation of Material a plus.
