What we do
We believe in helping you make better coffee. But we also believe in helping you make coffee better. We combine software, analytics and on-site coffee roasting for our retail partners making coffee more efficient, sustainable and inclusive. We do this with the first ever commercial, iOS-integrated, ventless, electric, zero-emissions roaster with the tools to customize and maximize every stage of roasting coffee.

How to be successful in this role
Jump in and work hard to meet deadlines. Work collaboratively with our Mechanical Engineers, our Embedded Systems Engineer, our Production Team and our Customer Experience team. Be on time, reliable and communicate what you are working on as you are working. Be a problem solver and make decisions based on a set of aligned values.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new features: Code, Test, Deploy and Iterate
- Maintain current code base to optimize customer experience
- Work directly with CTO, other technical leads, marketing and sales teams to shape Bellwether Coffee's product roadmaps and technical strategy
- Perform customer and investor demos of the product
Qualifications
- Experience with our development platforms, especially Swift
- Experience with test automation and release protocols
- Portfolio of multiple iOS applications that you've developed and published in the App Store
- Experience integrating mobile apps with backend servers and databases
- Experience testing and iterating on products based on user feedback
- Basic understanding of hardware/firmware engineering
- Strong language and documentation skills
Preferred
Some knowledge of coffee and the coffee industry is great but is not critical
