Market America, a product brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an experienced Mobile Applications Architect for our Mobile Team
Position Summary
Work with one of the largest online retailers in the world! You will provide guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the mobile application strategy of the company in a fun and engaging environment. You should be passionate about mobile computing and related disciplines, and want to build and oversee building of rich customer experiences that are fast, lightweight, accessible, and functional utilizing all the technology available to you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works with the architecture team in defining the mobile architecture for systems and projects.
Designs new mobile applications to effectively meet business goals using a variety of technologies.
Ensures the integrity and consistency of the mobile architectural structures.
Creates and enhances process flows to identify proper programs and processes.
Identifies and helps to improve areas in the framework to achieve optimal functionality and performance.
Provides guidance to the mobile engineering team to develop effective application solutions.
Performs high-level programming to key mobile applications and processes.
Documents the process to develop effective procedures for use and security.
Complies with company policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Team oversight required - up to 7 other developers
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Five years of experience in related programming language.
Experience as a technical lead on a number of projects in all stages of the development life cycle.
Or a combination of equivalent education, experience, and/or training.
Skills
Strong experience in React Native and/or Apache Cordova/PhoneGap
Expert knowledge of JavaScript including ES2017+
iOS and Google Play store release process.
CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI, BuddyBuild, etc.
Above moderate levels of English reading comprehension, writing, and speaking; mathematics, critical thinking, complex problem solving, operations analysis, quality control, troubleshooting, and systems analysis.
Moderate service orientation and judgment.
