SOFTGAMES is looking for an experienced Senior HTML5 / JavaScript Game Developer (m/f) who is self-motivated, goal-orientated and a strong team player. Join a team of super talented people to build awesome Games for Messengers that will entertain tens of millions of people around the world.
The Senior HTML5 / JavaScript Game Developer role is responsible for designing, architecting, testing and implementing game features into our live games. Further you'll be working on upcoming Messenger Games from the scratch. You will work closely with game artists and producers and with other Game Developers to share learning and best practices.
The successful candidate will ship robust and high performance code, is proactive, and act as a fount of knowledge when it comes to game development. As part of a small, high skilled and dynamic team you will enjoy a creative, challenging and collaborative environment and are expected to have the entrepreneurial spirit with a “getting things done” attitude.
Your role…
- Develop new HTML5 games for Facebook Messenger to expand our portfolio, with Pixi.js
- Maintain and optimize new and existing game features
- Write robust code to be used by millions of users
- Work on schedule, set clear goals, meet deadlines
- Independently create complete solutions from scratch
- Share knowledge and help colleagues

- Deep knownledge in JavaScript / HTML5 games development, ideally using Pixi.js or Phaser
- Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code
- Deliver high quality and well-structured code
