Business Intelligence Developer in the area MS SQL (m/f)

Our small and innovative team within the Biostatistics & Software Engineering department, which belongs to the Diagnostics R&D division, supports a broad portfolio of internal customers from R&D, complaint management, diagnostic production and the life cycle teams with tailor-made and complex data analyses and software solutions generated using a big data warehouse with technical instrument data. In this context, we are also responsible for the operation and continuous further development of this data warehouse in order to constantly improve and optimize the quality of our analyses. Our interdisciplinary team is looking for an open-minded, upfront and motivated SQL-Developer BI Analyst (m/f) who has fun at work and convinces us with above-average quality awareness.
- Evaluation and specification of complex queries for implementation in software, generation of reports (Tableau) and application of data mining methods
- Development and implementation of training courses for the use of internal software applications
- As well as consulting of internal experts and support of these applications for the evaluation of measurement data in diagnostics
- Independent statistical analyses and advice on issues relating to Roche Diagnostics products (IvD reagents, analysis systems and software products)
- Support and further development of the in-house MS SQL data warehouse and data processing tools
- Continuing education on the topics of Big Data and Data Science as well as in the field of the latest technological methods
Who you are:
- You have successfully completed studies in (bio-)statistics, computer science, mathematics or similar fields
- You have a great interest in complex contexts and the willingness to delve deeply into technical details
- You have very good knowledge in the processing and analysis of data and big data (data warehouse concepts, cube techniques such as OLAP)
- You demonstrate very good communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal), as well as a pronounced service orientation and organisational talent
- Goal-oriented communication and interaction with heterogeneous target groups are easy and fun for you
- You have good knowledge of MS SQL BI - Development Studio, Integration Services SSIS, Analysis Services SSAS and how to use the reporting software Tableau
