Ecommerce company is looking for a full stack Magento developer. We are located in the upcoming neighborhood of Inglewood in the warehouse district. Our office is casual and dog friendly since we are a niche subscription company in the pet industry. Our current team is small but nimble, personable, positive, friendly and hard working.
You will be responsible for continuing to develop and maintain our Magento 1.9.x site. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of Magento development experience, including:
Requirements
- Utilize understanding of Magento's code structure and extension architecture to develop sound technical strategies.
- Installing and testing add-ons
- Making back and front-end custom changes as required, including the development of custom features
- Proficiency with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Javascript, Ajax
- Resolve cross-browser compatibility issues
- Convert PSDs into themes
- Write clean structured and well-documented code
- Work with LAMP development environment and version control (GIT)
Qualifications:
- An expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5 and CSS3
- A Magento Certification is a HUGE plus
- Previous experience with subscription Commerce solutions is a HUGE plus
- Responsive web development techniques
- Expertise in other platforms such as WordPress (preferred)
- A portfolio with live links to sites that you have developed previously (preferred)
- Exceptional problem solving
- The ability to convert PSDs to Magento and PHP sites
- The ability to work on LAMP development environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
