We’re looking for a smart, hands-on and multi-talented Juniorr DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will work with modern technologies within a varied, complex and challenging environment. You will be pulled into multiple projects and will be responsible for technology across global sites as the business scales internationally.


Working closely with our DevOps team while under the guidance of an established VP of Engineering (ex-Google), this role provides the opportunity to learn from strong technologists within one of Australia’s fastest growing tech startups.


Key responsibilities:



  • Maintain tools and technologies as well as come up with innovative solutions to better connect our staff and customers throughout our offices as we expand globally

  • Internal IT & Hardware (ie. laptop/printers, WiFi and firewall configuration etc.)

  • Accounts management (maintain SSO system)

  • AWS Resources & Capacity management

  • Security (ie. Patch management, Sensitive tokens rotation, SSL Certificates rotation etc.)

  • Infrastructure management and creation

  • Day-to-day cloud management

  • Monitor and investigate systems

  • Procurement (ie. inventory coordination)

  • Report writing in various around engineering maintenance. R&D claims


Key attributes we are looking for:



  • Ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, computer science or similar coupled with 2+ years experience as a Systems Administrator/Engineer where you’ve had exposure to DevOps

  • Meticulous and well-organised

  • Good listener who is able to understand requirements quickly and then articulate and communicate to others

  • Strong security experience

  • AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CodeDeploy, Lambda) and Linux knowledge

  • SAML/SSO knowledge (accounts management)

  • Additionally: Dropbox, Slack, Github, Google Suite

  • Be able to uphold a strict level of confidentiality

  • Always the go-to for all things tech and enjoy being first port of call for anything infrastructure or security related

  • Has an interest in startup culture
