Boss Revolution’s Emerging Technology Team, who built Boss Money, will continue to create new features and optimize the existing code base of our fintech products. We have the application launched already and are enriching the feature set and progressing down our roadmap.
The team is looking for an experienced software engineer at the lead or principal level with full stack and mobile experience to join and add value by challenging assumptions and introducing new ways of looking at problem sets.
About the Opportunity:
- Lead a team of 9 software engineers towards success
- Design, architect, and implement cross-platform mobile apps and features
- Learn React Native and explore serverless architectures
- Write clean, DRY and modular code, providing proper documentation when necessary
- Extend the tools and capabilities of the team to support the ability to perform rapid prototyping
About You:
- You should be comfortable developing and maintaining prototypes as well as production grade enterprise systems. You have the vision and drive to take an idea from concept to prototype to product and have a desire to be involved in all aspects of the process.
- You are excited to develop and own new products or features from scratch in a lean, agile and tight-knit team, and aren’t afraid of wearing multiple hats to get it done when necessary, to help the team.
- You are great with JavaScript, ideally, React Native and Node. You know OOD/P and would like to write microservices in Go. NoSQL is your friend, when appropriate.
- You have strong communication and problem-solving skills, creative thinking, empathy and you thrive in small, agile teams yet you are capable of working solo without supervision.
- You like working with different types of databases (SQL & NoSQL) for scalable, responsive, high-performance applications utilizing modern JS frameworks
- Best practices in OOP & Design, architecture, CI/CD.
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, REST
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Someone passionate about fintech, web security, and open source tools
