We are looking for someone to take over the current product development process and evolve it based upon their own experiences and past successes. Our ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple products and define priorities for features and issues based on organizational goals and department needs. They will need to understand the big picture but also help us plan out engineering sprints and flush out the detail needed for individual stories.
As a Product Manager at Mediavine, you can expect to:
- Serve as the bridge between upper management and the teams tasked with the execution of the product.
- Take ownership for all product roadmaps, both internal and external, and oversee development for those products
- Create a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the product and aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy.
- Be in constant communication with stakeholders, reporting on progress
- Be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in a product management role
- Located within the United States
- Ability to empathize with customers and anticipate their needs
- Superb organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities with the ability to stay focused on goals while making sure everyone's voice is heard
Bonus points for:
- Experience working with Agile Frameworks like SCRUM
- An “eye” for User Experience/Design
- Background in software engineering and/or experience with software architecture
- Previous remote workplace experience
- Experience with navigating growing development teams
