DAT Solutions, a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon.


DAT Solutions is looking for an enterprising and technical leader to transform its IT Operations into a world class services organization in a manner that supports continuous growth and learning while achieving the business goals.  The Senior IT Operations Manager will lead and manage both strategic and tactical operations, develop and refine processes, and manage day to day operations to ensure our service level commitments are being met. This hands-on Information Technology leader is a key member of the IT leadership team and will help us complete our migration to the cloud, maintain our enterprise, maintain core infrastructure and build, manage our helpdesk and provide critical cross functional service relationships.


Essential Responsibilities / Duties:



  • Maintain the IT Service infrastructure for the company to include all aspects of technology operations (including Help Desk, Availability and Incident Management, Data Center and Cloud services, Core infrastructure services (compute, storage, network, database administration, etc..as well as  business continuity/disaster recovery, etc.).

  • Establish SLAs and KPIs aligned to business objectives and exercise independent judgment to escalate issues for resolution and meet commited service level agreements.

  • Accountable for class and quality of services for all Corporate and Revenue generating  solutions delivered.

  • Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements such as SOX and PCI

  • Leadership and development of a diverse team.

  • Developing, building, and sustaining strong working relationships and partnerships with IT customers.

  • Developing effective, efficient, and rigorous processes and methodologies which include monitoring and reporting.

  • Developing system and organizational roadmaps that ensure business and service continuity.

  • Collaborating and working with other IT groups while providing key inputs and guidance for the overall management of IT.

  • Management of key vendors, contractors, and cloud providers.

  • Managing annual financial planning and budgets for the IT Operations team.

  • Oversee procurement of software and hardware and management of IT assets and inventory.

  • Provide oversight on Asset Management, Change Management, and configuration management

  • Maintain appropriate operational information assurance posture for programs


Qualification / Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business,  or a technology-related field preferred

  • 5+ years of work experience within IT Service Management areas with demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

  • 5+ Years working with IT Service Management tools such as Service Now, Remedy,

  • 5+ Years working experience in Vendor and 3rd Party Management

  • 5+ years Experience in a 24x7x365 IT operational model.

  • 5+ years in a leadership role, team building, mentoring, and professional planning

  • 3-5 years Experience supporting highly virtualized hybrid cloud applications and environments.

  • Strong experience with Office productivity tools such as MS Office, Open Office, or Google G-Suite.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft products ( Server, Office365, AD), Cisco networking, VMWare, Linux

  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, hypervisors, helpdesk systems and processes, collaboration platforms, firewalls.

  • Excellent partnering and collaboration skills.

  • Exceptional communication, both written & verbal; that includes very good listening skills and an open attitude and acceptance to coaching and being coached.

  • Ability to evangelize and educate on process and strategy.

  • Ability to identify and solve problems creatively to ensure satisfactory user experience.

  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Budget planning and forecasting and managing expenses to plan.

  • Experience with implementing or supporting business continuity and disaster recovery programs.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to determine and implement solutions.

  • Strong Vendor Management skills.
