We need someone who can build out a front-end! Making things look good through design is a big plus, but the build is the priority here.

An Orbis team member is required to have the following essential qualifications:
- Create effective, professional UI designs and implement them using Java/JS based technologies.
- Collaborate with fellow software engineers, researchers, product managers, quality engineering teams and other subject matter experts to produce coherent and comprehensive software solutions.
- Work with large amounts of data originating from existing security frameworks, vulnerability data, and other sources to improve and expand existing capabilities.
- Develop innovative object-oriented, reusable, and stable code, and deliver solutions on schedule in an Agile environment.
- Create attractive, interactive and easy-to-use web applications using rich client-side code.
What You'll Need:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience developing scalable applications using the following technologies; Java, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, JSON, HTML5, Node.JS, Angular
- Solid experience working with REST based protocols and interfaces
- Experience following industry-accepted UI design standards
- Experience using data visualization techniques and frameworks, such as D3
- Experience with at least one major scripting language such as Bash, Perl, or Python
- Experience using revision control, bug tracking, and code review tools, such as those by Atlassian
- Thorough knowledge of browser quirks and workarounds
- Familiarity with common web application vulnerabilities and mitigations
- Strong debugging and analysis skills using tools
- Experience with one or more of the following databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, Cassandra or other NoSQL technologies

- Able to balance the art as well as the science in implementing intuitive user experiences.
- Experience and preference to work in fast paced environment using Scrum methodology.
- Validate epics, user stories, and test scripts
- Solution validation and testing, user training, and go-live support
- Ability to actively engage in code reviews, test plan/case reviews, and design reviews
- Experience with developing solutions for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
