Key responsibilities
Work with the team to develop the CIB Notifications solution
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, by collaborating with the UI/UX team
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Strive for continuous improvement through active participation in team, J.P. Morgan community and site-wide activities
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Experience in Core Java, experience of any Java Messaging Middleware, Maven, Java Unit Testing Frameworks (e.g. mockito)
Experience of Continuous Integration
Have led a team of developers
Experience with applications frameworks including Spring
Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
Knowledge of Relational database, experience with SQL query, procs for DB2 ( preferable) or Oracle
Strong experience and desire to be an example for the team for test driven development, Junit, understanding what it means to TEST code and deliver solution
Experience with real-time, event-driven systems and service-oriented architectures
Capability with enterprise messaging systems, including message queues and pub/sub.
Strives to improve both the team and them by keeping up to date with market and industry
