We expect you to:
- Be a Developer in a Scrum/Kanban team, with a focus on testing
- Work with developers back to back, know what they cover in unit tests (in Scala and JavaScript), help them define integration and API tests, develop UI tests together
- Perform all means of testing (manual/automated, functional/non-functional, black-box/white-box)
- Take an active part in transition to continuous deployment and building pipelines and proper test pyramid
- Introduce exploratory testing sessions, mob-testing and other means that will lead to team testing their product together
- Help the team to be responsible for the product and quality end to end
- Mentor developers on how to test
- Find and fix bugs yourself
- Be ready to learn, develop skills and knowledge, as well as share it
Your qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience in a matching position
- Solid experience in software development and testing
- Knowledge of JavaScript and experience with client-side unit/integration testing
- Knowledge of Scala (or Java) and experience with server-side unit/integration testing
- Experience with client-server integration testing and e2e test automation
- Experience with testing web and mobile
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
